Refund policy

Return Window

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of receiving your order. 
    For customers within the European Union, a 14 day return period applies. Please scroll to the bottom of this policy for further information regarding EU returns and cancellations.
  • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery to initiate a return.
  • Items sent back outside this timeframe will be returned to you at your expense.

Return Conditions

  • Items must be new, unused, and in original packaging with the Travel Ring Co tag attached.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus shipping and handling fees.
  • Returns that do not meet these requirements will be sent back to you at your expense.

Important Notes

  • Earrings: No returns or exchanges due to hygiene regulations.
  • Shipping: Customers are responsible for all shipping costs unless the item is deemed faulty.
  • Restocking fee: A 20% fee applies to refunds for change of mind or size issues. This does not apply if you choose store credit or an exchange.
  • Store credit purchases: Items bought with store credit cannot be returned again. Any store credit issued is final and non-transferable and may not be exchanged, redeemed, or refunded for cash or any monetary equivalent once allocated.
  • Discounts: If a return reduces your order below a discount threshold, the discount will be removed and deducted from your refund. This includes any promotional or bonus items, which must be returned if you wish to receive a refund.
  • Cancellations: We accept cancellations within one (1) hour of your purchase. However, all payment processing fees are non-refundable. This includes fees charged by Afterpay, Klarna, credit/debit card providers, and Shopify.
  • Care reminder: Avoid contact with hairspray, perfume, fake tan, or chemicals, as these may damage your jewellery.

Return Process

If you wish to return an item, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact Us
    • Before returning your item, please contact us via email to initiate your return request.
  2. Prepare Your Return
    • Items must be returned in their original packaging and in their original condition with the ring tag still attached.
    • Please ensure the item is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
  3. Return Your Item

  1. Return Shipping Costs
    • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.
    • We recommend using a tracked postage service, as Travel Ring Co is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Exchanges

  • Within Australia: You cover the cost of sending the item back and we cover the cost of shipping your replacement.
  • International Orders (Except USA): Customers are responsible for both return shipping and shipping of the replacement item
  • United States of America: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, shipping of the replacement item, and a duties fee equal to 10% of the orders value. These duties are covered on your original purchase, but they are not covered for exchanges.

Final Sale, Pre-orders & Custom Orders

  • Please note that all custom orders, pre-orders and final sale items are non-refundable; however, size exchanges are welcome on final sale items only, subject to stock availability, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs for any exchanged sizes.

European Union Customers

If your order was delivered to a country within the European Union, you are entitled to a 14 day return period from the date of delivery.

Items must be returned unused, in original packaging, and with the Travel Ring Co tag attached.

For EU returns:

  • No restocking fee applies.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • A flat fee of €10 will be deducted from your refund to cover the original packaging costs associated with your order.
  • Original shipping costs paid at checkout are non refundable and will also be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Earrings are not eligible for return or exchange due to hygiene regulations.
  • Made to order, custom made, and pre order items are excluded from our returns and cancellation policy and are non refundable, except where the item is defective, damaged, or otherwise fails to comply with applicable consumer guarantees.
